Active Media Products Ltd (AMP) warrants its
products to be free from defects in material and workmanship
and to meet our published specifications for a period of one
year from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise in the
product specifications. During the warranty period, if any product
should fail under normal use in accordance with our specifications
due to defects in workmanship or materials, AMP will, at its
option, either repair the product or replace it with a comparable
one. If AMP is unable to repair or replace the product, it will
refund or credit the lower of the purchase price of the product
or the current value of the product at the time the warranty
claim is made.
Proof of date of purchase is required. AMP will inspect
the Product and decide whether to repair or replace it. AMP reserves
the right to provide a functional equivalent, or refurbished replacement
product.
This warranty does not cover product failure due to
abuse, accident, mishandling, improper usage or installation, alteration,
excessive electrical supply or acts of nature. Opening or tampering
with the product casing, or any physical damage, abuse or alteration
to the product’s casing will void the product warranty. The
warranty only applies to the product itself, and excludes all product
accessories such as cables, adapters, keychains and cords, which must
be exchanged within seven days of the purchase date if defective.
Our products must be used with devices that comply
with industry standards. In the event of defective flash memory
AMP is not responsible for any data recovery. AMP is not liable
for damages resulting from a third party device that causes
the product to fail. AMP is not liable for any consequential,
indirect, or incidental damages, lost profits, lost business
investments lost goodwill, or interference with business relationships
as a result of lost data or product malfunction. AMP is also
not responsible for damage or failure to any third party equipment,
even if AMP has been advised of this possibility. AMP’s
sole obligation is replacement of the product.
AMP reserves the right to cancel any orders based
on product availability, pricing errors, or other unanticipated
reasons.
Warranty Service Procedures
Prior to sending any product to AMP for warranty
service, customers are required to first obtain a Return Materials
Authorization (RMA) number by emailing us their Name, model
number and order number. The RMA number
must be clearly printed on the outside of the package. All transport
and insurance costs from the customer to AMP must be prepaid
by the customer. The product should be properly packaged so
as to protect it from damage during transport. AMP will repair
the product or replace it with an equivalent product that may
be either new or refurbished. If the product is no longer available
AMP will issue a credit or refund for the value of the product
as of the date the RMA number was issued. AMP will return the
product to the customer with all transport costs prepaid. The
warranty period for any returned product is one year from the
original date of purchase.
